Why do THEY all change their names?
One of the first things we learn in this place is our name. We learn to respond to it. We learn to spell it and write it. Salespeople and NLP experts learn to generously populate their speech with the subject's name.
Why do THEY all change their names?
Not all, but many do. It was common for Jewish people to change their names to better fit into gentile communities. Celebrities use stage names that are easier to pronounce or portray a character. Bon Jovi, Nikki Sixx, Alice Cooper, Bob Dylan, etc.
ReplyDeleteI remember my parents explaining this to me. I never understood this. I collected autographs under the guise of my dad when I was a young man. It is odd that these entities sign false names. My position now is that there is something more to this than ease of pronunciation. Thanks for your comment...cheers, db
