I was wondering about the goofy hat, maybe she was having a bad hair day. Why is Melanie holding the bibles, and Donny doesn't have his hand on it, maybe he did later. His kids don't look like him either.
THEY are bizarre entities for sure. I have made the case for years that THEY have difficulty feigning being human. THEIR gestures, manners, vocabulary, etc attempts to appear human. My model is that THEY are entrained to the AI which also has difficulty appearing human.
