How can they afford this place?

I buy one item only from Whole Foods...tonic water as it is supposedly made from cane sugar. Most have high fructose corn syrup which I try to avoid.  It is relatively cheap. Most items are   ridiculously expensive in my opinion.

They opened a 40,000 square foot Whole Foods near me today.  I thought I would pick up a case of tonic.  The place was mobbed.  There was not a single empty parking space.   I parked at Lowe's and walked over.  It was insanely crowded.

I checked a price on a smoked salmon spread.  Ten dollars for a small container.

I found the beverage aisle.  Of course they had no tonic water.  I walked back to Lowe's.

I went to a local seafood market.  Smoked salmon spread was 6 dollars for an even smaller container.

I don't know how apparently average people shop at these places, yet they are all crowded.
