It's ALIVE

I recently got a new laptop from the company I work for.   I tried to sleep last night and this thing kept clicking and making noise despite it being shut down.  I woke up in the middle of the night and unplugged it....wouldn't stop.  I finally took it to the other end of my house and buried it under blankets.  

Later this morning.  I realized it was still running on batteries.  I subsequently found out that the camera was on despite my having taped it over.  I could not shut the camera off without admin privileges.  The microphone was on, WIFI and bluetooth were on.  Fortunately I was able to shut those off.  

I went in and changed all the settings to shut down completely....we will see what happens tonight.
