Appreciate JLB's shout out to DBW...

I have previously written about my disdain for the "predictive programming" model.

  1. Hi again!
Just FYI, I posted a comment under this video on yt.
Just for clarity I'm copying it here:
"The context of my comment was in regard to Howdie Mickoski saying that this world/place is full of garbage everywhere you look, and that even people who think that they've discovered the Truth or those who call themselves truth seekers are stuck in layers of falsehood, even though they may have discovered some truths. I also agree with Howdie that the greatest and deepest truths are found once you go inside, inside your own mind, when you go soul searching, or however you want to call it. It's visible to me that none of the people or groups of people I mentioned in my comment has ever seriously done that.
It wasn't just an empty rant, or mad comment or whatever, but you can obviously take it as you want it.
And if you think that what Howdie is saying in that video, or what DB is putting on his blog, is negative, then that just means that you just don't understand the truth, that positivity and negativity are subjective and in the end are just empty concepts."
I will add that even if we experience the world subjectively, and if one wants to look at it from that perspective, there's no denying that the experience is dark
But someone like JLB doesn't get it, because he believes in empty ideas, like for example the idea of 'happiness', and like the vast majority of people is addicted to the pleasure seeking circle, which masks the 'dark' reality of this place. Obviously that doesn't mean that he is a bad researcher, or that his content isn't good, quite the contrary in fact. But he, and other people I referred to, just don't go deep enough, unfortunately.
    Cheers,
    Luke

    1. Hi Luke...thanks for the clarification on your comment. I appreciate it. Thank you for posting it here. If you met me in real life, we would probably be laughing and drinking and joking. Just because I am in some kind of a farm, doesn't mean I can't make the best of it. On this blog, I have shared some of my favorite musical pieces, family traditions, and memories of my childhood. I balance the black pills with some beauty and nostalgia. Being a typical Gemini, I could be the life of the party or locked in a closet by myself for months.

I disagree with nearly everyone I know online and offline, but that's what makes me me and you you. This does not stop me from listening to their analysis and perspective. I often find a gem (as in the recent Alison McDowell clip...it explains so much of how we butterflies are isolated from those expecting us to be caterpillars). I disagree with Alison on ALOT, but I learn alot as well. I spend a good amount of time having dialogues with myself through journalling.

The reason for this blog is to help me crystallize and clarify my own perspective and thoughts. If someone finds it interesting or useful...great, but its purpose is "selfish".

I continue to appreciate your contributions in general and in particular to this space.

      best regards always, db
