In my opinion, the answer to this  question is trauma and deprogramming.  The amount of trauma that we undergo both intra-uterine as well as as infants and children is overwhelming.   At the same time we are being told what we are seeing around us and indoctrinated with stories and definitions.  All at a frantic pace to attempt to understand who we are and where we are at.  Our motivation is to avoid pain, embarrassment, punishment, and suffering. 

Those of us who have taken time to do shadow work and heal our traumas have fresh eyes to observe our surroundings.  Most importantly as Icke described in detail in the recent interview I posted...the limitations of our senses to decode our surroundings. 

My number one example of this is THE sun and THE moon.   I have written extensively about sun and moon being phenomena in the skies relative to our physical bodies.   They are local phenomena in our local skies....if you have the eyes to see.
