Overall, a good discussion. I am fascinated by how these content creators minimize the nefarious nature of this place, explaining away motives and intentions. This is a brutal realm predicated on pain and suffering as its foundation.
The irony of these presenters explaining cosmology on the basis of materialism is not lost on yours truly.
I didn't listen to the whole interview so I could be wrong but I think he uses the words 'science' and 'evidence' to present himself as knowledgeable and authoritative, when there is actually no scientific evidence behind the arguments (pseudo-science)
ReplyDelete- Science as I understand it requires experimentation (observation of a natural phenomena, variables and hypotheses) which can provide evidence for a theory. Correlations and peer-reviews do not scientifically prove anything.
In today's secular society, people trust "scientists" as they did with religious priests in the past. For example, they can scare adults and children with "theories" about climate change (doomsday prophecies)
Other scare theories are the theory of evolution with dinosaurs (extinction) or space (asteroids and space debris)
