 Many terrific tracks from this album, but this is my favorite.



William James "Count" Basie (/ˈbeɪsi/; August 21, 1904 – April 26, 1984)[1] was an American jazz pianist, organist, bandleader, and composer. In 1935, he formed the Count Basie Orchestra, and in 1936 took them to Chicago for a long engagement and their first recording. He led the group for almost 50 years, creating innovations like the use of two "split" tenor saxophones, emphasizing the rhythm section, riffing with a big band, using arrangers to broaden their sound, his minimalist piano style, and others.

I had been sending donations to Ensemble Ptashitsa in Russia for many years.  After each of their Youtube livestreams, I would send 20 dollars or so.  I always received an email of gratitude from Ivan, the leader of the group.   When the Russia Ukraine event started, I got my Paypal account locked and my bank account was locked as well.  I was able to get my bank accounts back, but to this day cannot link Paypal to my bank account.  I could no longer send donations.  Ivan released a statement about not getting deceived by stories in newspapers on Ukraine and Russia, used to divide us.  It was a brave statement inferring media fakery.  There were ALWAYS many Ukrainians in the livestream chats of Ptashitsa.  These illusions of borders and countries could not be clearer.   A year after my donations stopped due to this "war",  I received a Ptashitsa calendar in the mail from Ivan, signed by the group.  He said thanks for ...

Who writes the music? The BOX.

  I propose that none of the pop musicians, actors, celebrities, government officials are what they present as. The kabuki theatre of Joe Rogan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Peter Frampton, and Barry Manilow is an example of how their hive harvests attention from manKIND. Where did Peter Frampton even come from? I have already posted the bizarre stories of Barry Manilow and Neil Young. I also propose that these entities can never exit the stage...of life. Joni Mitchell at 78 is called upon again to come on stage in this Rogan charade. This is another bizarre one, filled with anger and vengeance even at its elderly age. I found this interview from ten years ago VERY revealing. "I'm a freedom freak." Interesting statement in the context of the current vax-o-mania. In 2010..... Frankie Valli still performing....at age 90
