When Should a Band/Artist Call It Quits? The Art of Guitar

They ask good questions, but their answers fall short.  They rationalize that these elderly rock stars are on stage for money or gambling debts.  My model goes along with Dylan making a deal with the Chief Commander.  This is a spiritual battle...be told.

  • ....truly under the dragon's wing.

  • Even the concert experience must be mediated by SCREENWORLD

  • This one is very painful to watch...

  1. Those are big names that still draw a crowd, still make money. city governments have tourist dollars to bring acts in. Casinos have unlimited revenue to provide entertainment and get customers thru the door. I would never pay to see any of these people now, but many people will. Even KISS who had their end of the road tour, has come back and will play Las Vegas this year. Some of the artists have been interviewed and stated they don't want to quit, as it's all they know and get bored when they aren't out playing, and the gigs are decent. But most play to backing tracks and vocals so they are ripping the fans off. There are a large percentage of comp tickets that are given away, the venues make money thru parking and concessions. I do agree there may be something else that keeps these artists on tour.

    1. Thanks for your comment. I think money is a ruse in this realm. I am 65 and it is a struggle for me to get to the local post office. If I didn't have to work, I would never leave my house...enjoying good food and drink, while hiking in nature. THEY are harvesting your spiritual energy. This is way beyond the material. If one is not considering the unseen spiritual realm, one is limited. I have met most of these individuals. Lucinda Williams was especially kind to me. Elvis Costello, Willie Nelson, and Chrissie Hynde were obliging and friendly. I sat next to Paul Simon at a Cafe in the French Quarter in New Orleans. I can just tell you from my perspective that if I had my drothers, I would rarely leave my home. It all requires too much energy, which I do not have. At least, I have no spiritual debts to pay back to anyone or anything. As previously iterated, I do not believe these entities are sovereign. They are compromised. They act as a hive...Mccartney, Hynde, Grohl, etc.

This is my firsthand encounter with the system.

  2. I believe Scott Bondy was already compromised and didn't turn anything down. Getting signed to Capitol Records, doesn't just happen by chance, especially to a band like that from small town Alabama. And the big names that were associated with that band right away. Is that an appearance by Kurt Cobain in the Baby Got Shot video around the :36 time mark? How ironic, since we know he didn't die, they were rubbing it in our faces. You know that style of music was on the way out and Scott needed to rebrand himself. Considering his moving around to a home in NY means he wasn't just some average joe that plays alt rock. He would have be from a family that had connections. I'm sure you'll be seeing or hearing more of him in some form. He's still in the game. It's been verified Grohl was from a military intelligence family. Even Nirvana's early guitar player was apart of that. Look further into Bondy's genealogy and you'll see it.
