Deaths increased a lot in Canada in 2020—the number of deaths exceeded 300,000 for the first time, and the death rate per 100,000 exceeded 800, also for the first time. This was followed by another smaller increase in mortality in 2021. This pattern was similar to the US, although the increase in deaths in Canada was not as large. Final thoughts Although this was just a bare overview of deaths in Canada, there were some strikingly similar patterns of excess deaths in both Canada and the US, including the huge death spike in Spring 2020, following the World Health Organization’s declaration of a global pandemic. There was also the fact the deaths increased most, percentage-wise, among younger and middle-aged adults—eerily similar to the same pattern of deaths seen in the US. Do you believe in coincidences? One of the many contraptions I choose to populate my house with is cuckoo clocks.  They are completely mechanical timepieces with no electricity.   In the past several weeks, I have had to consistently advance all of my cuckoo clocks nearly on a daily basis.  They have been in my house for years.  What are the odds that all of them are now unable to match the SCREENWORLD generated time now? Is SCREENWORLD time speeding up?

I rarely venture off my compound.  I recently made an exception, going to a local library for a talk on fireflies.  One forgets the nature of the water one swims in after "waking up."  The three children seated in the front row were not clearly boys or girls. Several references were made about looking up into outer space. Ubiquitous phones despite having a live person right in front of you.  The presenter wore a name tag as if that designates him as the authority, despite most of the audience being twice his age.  One gentleman from the audience asked at the end " We used to call them lightning bugs.  Why are they now called fireflies?"  Of course the presenter had no answer.  How easily things change in less than a generation.  https://fireflies.ai/
