Is SCREENWORLD time speeding up?

One of the many contraptions I choose to populate my house with is cuckoo clocks.  They are completely mechanical timepieces with no electricity.

In the past several weeks, I have had to consistently advance all of my cuckoo clocks nearly on a daily basis.  They have been in my house for years.  What are the odds that all of them are now unable to match the SCREENWORLD generated time now?

  1. That’s an interesting observation. Nobody owns a clock anymore. We all go by our phones. So you’re probably right they’re speeding it up. Best wishes from your Florida flamingo!

  2. Thanks for the comment, ff. When I was young, most wrist watches and clocks were mechanical. It is another example of the decades long program to digitize this place, replacing the analog with the digital. Cheers, db
