This post is in response to a commenter on my post of Dolly Parton on Mount Rushmore. Anyone with any further knowledge...please comment...

I had been sending donations to Ensemble Ptashitsa in Russia for many years. After each of their Youtube livestreams, I would send 20 dollars or so. I always received an email of gratitude from Ivan, the leader of the group. When the Russia Ukraine event started, I got my Paypal account locked and my bank account was locked as well. I was able to get my bank accounts back, but to this day cannot link Paypal to my bank account. I could no longer send donations. Ivan released a statement about not getting deceived by stories in newspapers on Ukraine and Russia, used to divide us. It was a brave statement inferring media fakery. There were ALWAYS many Ukrainians in the livestream chats of Ptashitsa. These illusions of borders and countries could not be clearer. First learned this working with Howdie Mickoski on his Origins of Hockey book. Told this story to my mother in step, she said this wasn't new, she had heard this from the Pueblo Indians growing up in Colorado. That there was once a big monument in South Dakota, three Indians representing the Salt, Water, and Fire of existence. And that they were covered up.
ReplyDeleteSo I went and researched all of the photos I could find. And there wasn't one that was not fake other than the ones of the current monument. To conclude, the story we are presented of the construction of Mount Rushmore is a lie. Like just about most everything else here.

DeleteGood morning db! Great video, this very interesting. Another rabbit hole to fall into is 17 miles down the road from Rushmore, it’s the crazy horse memorial. It an unfinished statue that was started in 1948.
ReplyDeleteIt was supposedly started After Mount Rushmore was supposedly complete. The head is the only thing they managed to complete. To me it seems that Rushmore was already there. Crazy horse is being build from scratch. Very interesting

Wow, ff...that is one deep rabbit hole that I had never heard of. The complicated stories surrounding it seem generated to me at first glance. Thanks for contributing, best, db
