There is something about astrology and personality types that is telling.

Perhaps there are more that I am missing.  I do think that our personality types are coded into our incarnation based on the position of the stars. We are all given a personality template. All is part of the design of the simulation. 

Reflecting on my life, I remember spending every Friday evening with my grandparents after work as a teenager and in college...wanting to hear their stories of what they experienced in their life.  I had no interest in alcohol or girls...I wanted to know who I am and where I came from.   My paternal grandfather was put into an orphanage as a child after his father was killed in the coal mines and his wife died from a broken heart afterwards.  My grandfather told me the Catholic orphanage was horrific. They were severely punished for "stealing" an apple to eat.  He told me that the nuns were not worthy of him "pissing on their graves."

On my Mom's side, she lost her father at age 6.  Her mother desperately tried to keep the family together fending off depression and vulture relatives.  Her mother died  when I was 5.....one of my earliest memories was carrying around a small wooden chair to keep her legs elevated and ward off congestive heart failure, desperately trying to heal  her. 

The trauma that this place has induced in my own family alone is overwhelming.  I do believe that this trauma is intergenerational and remains a burden to later generations, unbeknownst to them. 

I not only celebrate my birthday...I celebrate everyday as if it were my last.  I will close with my attending a Loudon Wainwright concert at Lupo's in Providence many many years ago.  He asked for requests.  I shouted out "Birthday Present" and he played it.... a wonderful memory.
