ReplyDeletei very much enjoy this blog. i’ve been reading it ever since JLB mentioned you a few months ago now. There are some channels you post that i’d never heard of and love that theyre small and have been around for a while.
and also relate to realizing all my musical heroes are wankers.
luckily most of my programming was pretty harmless nineties poppunk. but a few of the bands that meant something turned out to stand for nothing. nofx just released a song called minnesota nazis that is equally as horrendous as the bruce song above. ai would of been better in their case. my favorite band rancid never said a thing about any of the going ons on their newest 2023 album…when there was plenty to talk about for so called anti establishment “punks”.
I will leave you with 2 artists i gained a little hope from which has been Van Morrison and Ian Hunter latest releases the last few years. At least theyve addressed some things-whether its genuine or not, i am aware they could just be playing a part.

Hi Brian, Thank you for your comment and kind words. I decided to start the blog to put out my take on this place we exist in. I realize I am helping to build my digital twin, but wanted to let others know, things are not right in this place. I consider this blog to be a message in a bottle.
DeleteWhen I went through the 13 or so hours of "They Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll," there was no going back. Rock was the center of my world, so I had to deconstruct and reconstruct my world. All this knowing I am not religious and do not accept the traditional concept of god or creator... 2020 was the nail in the coffin for rock and pop music. THEY are part of the HIVE that is working tirelessly to do something to manKIND. The injection was a critical part of that.
I have previously written of my meeting Van Morrison in downtown Providence. I asked him to sign a CD, he walked right past me. His manager took my CD put it in front of him and told him to sign it. It was as if he was a puppet operating on orders.
Similary when I met Jimmy Carter at a rally, I asked him to sign something and he looked terrified. He looked me in the eyes and said, "They won't let me." It hit me that this man was in charge of nothing. Another puppet.
