 Another reason to avoid movies and pop music....not knowing what information is being broadcast outside of the threshold of our senses. 

There is certain audio that is looped backwards as noise "backdrops". But they are usually accompanied by forward voices as well. Because it's being used as layered noise. I don't find it nearly as much as I used to. The technique is evolving. The same kind of technology that hides voices in rhytmic sound or ambient sounds have been used in movies since Saving Private Ryan and before. But I can tell you for certain - It's all over Saving Private Ryan. Straight up, forward sounds masked over other sounds. Like a tank, for example. Because of this and because of the use and purpose for either hidden audio or pulsed communication, back masking has become outdated. Because now the sound is hidden right in front of your face. Or ears. Instead of hiding a voice or a communication backwards, it can sit right underneath the sound of a vehicle, hammering, ambient sound, whatever the noise is. And this can be in a movie, music..or in real time out in the real world. Which is why "voice hearers" always hear stuff coming from air conditioners, fans or anything that make noise. It's an auto-gain system. Which is actually pretty brilliant. Because it has two uses. It auto gains on noise. But the auto gain technique / method is what can monitor sounds / decibels / human activity in any area. But they didn't invent it. From my research, I'm 99.9999% sure it had a perfectly good purpose in the beginning. And like everything else that is good, it was stolen, went dark and was weaponized. That's too deep to get into within a reply, though.
