What is the purpose of all of this?

I think back on my life and wonder what is the purpose of all of this.  We struggle to breathe, eat, walk, speak, control our bowels, and grow.  We are put into "schools" or indoctrination centers for many years to instill conformity and obedience.  We struggle to find our way, learning about cars, jobs, licenses, taxes, voting, etc.   They lace the poison with small doses of happiness and pleasure to keep us engaged.

I think back on my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, etc.  All dead, all put so much effort into this place and what is left...nothing.  They all suffered.  They all struggled...physically, emotionally, and psychologically.  Marriages, divorces, children, pets, death of relatives, diseases, houses, gardens, holidays, meals, jobs, job losses...

To what end?  I can see that their energy was harvested and they are gone.  That is the blunt truth of this existence. It is critical to keep us distracted from this fact.  The more we realize this, the less we give up our lifeforce to this place. 

Even doing art and playing musical instruments on some level seems pointless...and I committed many decades of my life to those pursuits. 

The lives of those who came before are unknown to current generations, replaced by false stories, false beliefs, and false narratives.   I do not believe that this is by accident or chance. 

When I was a teenager, I was consummately interested in stories from my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and parents.  I wanted to know firsthand what they had experienced.  That is where I did my learning...not in school.
