Also, I find it kind of funny that she wont play "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" to protest gun violence, but then she allows the movie "Nobody" to use "Heart breaker" over one of the most intense car chase / gun battles in recent memory, with people get shot and killed left and right. Square that circle.
Having worked a recent local (to mpls) fest where she headlined, she is not a nice person.
I’ve worked as a roadie for Pat Benatar on several different occasions and she by far was the hardest of all the celebrities I’ve ever met to get along with. I have lots of individual stories that are ridiculous about weird demands she had. I saw an earlier comment somebody said her micro level is always the same. Honestly, it was probably a recorded vocal. Pretty sure that career was built on luck, not talent.
I love her magical microphone that magically stays the same volume regardless of how far the mouth is away...
Haven’t been able to watch the review yet, but she is a serial mime artist. Hopefully that’s addressed in this video.
I think Pat is just sick of playing Hit Me With Your Best Shot. She said so when I saw her many years ago. But, she reluctantly played it and said she was going to change it up a bit. They played it real slow in some kind of really strange arrangement which I didn't care for at all. I kinda of got the vibe that she's tired of singing the same songs year after year.
So many artists have been caught miming their shows, I just assume they aren't really singing anymore. Especially when I see the drummer wearing headphones. He probably isn't hearing the band at all, just the cues in his ears. If the singer sounds like they have a cold when they talk, then sing perfectly, they probably aren't singing. Technology can be great, but it can be used to fool people pretty easily too. I only see shows at small places where you are close enough that you can tell if they are faking it. The good new bands are stuck in small bars anyway. Go support them.

I did hear from someone who ran the festival that they I saw them at that there was some diva like behavior from her and her bandmates before they went on. There were some pretty silly things they were upset about, like the roses delivered to them backstage weren’t the right color and other silly unimportant stuff.
Patricia Mae Andrzejewski is doing decent for a 72 year old woman. Neil looks like Gavin Newsome. She looks to be lip syncing in a few points in the vid, however looing at Neil's and the bass players hands, I'd say they is really playing and the drummer is too. I rarely goto big concerts but when I do I actually expect backing tracks.
