I had been sending donations to Ensemble Ptashitsa in Russia for many years. After each of their Youtube livestreams, I would send 20 dollars or so. I always received an email of gratitude from Ivan, the leader of the group. When the Russia Ukraine event started, I got my Paypal account locked and my bank account was locked as well. I was able to get my bank accounts back, but to this day cannot link Paypal to my bank account. I could no longer send donations. Ivan released a statement about not getting deceived by stories in newspapers on Ukraine and Russia, used to divide us. It was a brave statement inferring media fakery. There were ALWAYS many Ukrainians in the livestream chats of Ptashitsa. These illusions of borders and countries could not be clearer. I've listened to Armun before, ones that you've linked here. In this one, I don't think that either of them have a good grasp on what the ego is. Even though I was familiar with Freud's model, I was able to grasp this better with the help of the works if Richard Rose. Rose classified the ego as being the body's "Umpire." It is of this realm, so it is false, just like the avatar. And its primary purpose is to procreate so as to keep this place running. It is responsible for almost all emotions including laughter, anger, scare, and animated emotions. "We" can only get closer to our source by checking, watching, and making it aware that there are two of "us" here. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI very much appreciate your analysis and sharing your model. I am now of the opinion that our physical body is used as a weapon against us largely via hormones, often triggered by fear and past trauma. Sex is clearly weaponized against us as well. I have written about these in the past.
