The noose tightens and I escape....again.

I have collected cartoon memorabilia for decades.  There is an upcoming Jay Ward art collection going up for auction.  Some of my favorite characters are included...the rare birds.  When I signed up, after I gave my credit card, etc, I was told that I cannot bid until I verify my identity.  It required a smart phone  and government issued ID.

I called them up and told them that I don't have a smartphone or webcam.  The service rep was extremely nice and accommodating.  Within an hour, I was able to bid.  No smartphone, no government issued ID, no nothing.   The Red Sea parted.

      On some level, I don't believe that their rules will trump my pathway. This place has malleable rules. Thanks for your comment, best regards, db

Frankie Valli still performing....at age 90
