 I very much agree with QOC that this is another narrative that is unbelievable.  He doesn't even really address the logistics of providing food, water, medicine to such large numbers of people.  I also find it very difficult to believe that someone from their home in the "South" would trek thousands of miles on foot from home to do battle with the "North."  

It is a lovely rainy Sunday morning in the Northeast.  I enjoy listening to Bach solo piano while journalling on days like this.  We are told that Bach composed 1128 pieces of music in his lifetime.  He supposedly died at age 65 and began composing at age 15.  Thus, he spent 50 years composing music.  This averages more than 22 compositions a year EVERY YEAR.   Given the complexity and beauty of his work, I find this story to be unbelievable.  https://dirtybennywrites.blogspot.com/2023/12/js-bach-genius-or-medium.html

This morning I was doing my seed saving for 2025.  My favorite new pepper for this year is called the Bulgarian Carrot pepper.  Just as I was writing carrot on my ziploc bag, the live Polka Jammer radio played a song called Carrot Polka, which I have never heard before.  Bulgarian Carrot Also known as “Shipkas,” these compact heirloom chiles bear heavy sets of early maturing, 3 inch glossy orange pods shaped like little carrots. Bulgarian Carrot chiles are both hot and fruity and really delicious in fresh salsas, for scrumptious sauce, or any dish or sauce that calls for both heat and lots of flavor.
